Naughty beaches st martin

Would like to know the status of damages at the Flamingo Beach Resort ; especially building 4 if possible. There are several reports and photos on the facebook site everything sxm. Photos and descriptions indicate roof and water damage. The restaurant, former Toppers, is gone. Significant damage in Pelican Bay region.

Esmerelda is located on a great part of the island and the beach was terrific. The "resort" is not a resort at all. There are barely any amenities to speak of, including the sad fact that there wasn't even a clock radio in the room. The room itself was very very bare bones with sand ingrained tile floors and stark white walls. It had no decor other than the small TV. I saw the maids do a poor job of actually cleaning the place in less than 20 minutes so don't expect anything to be disinfected. I can say that our king bed which was actually just 2 doubles pushed together was pretty comfortable.

We just returned from 5 days in St. The water was amazingly beautiful and the weather was great and the people were so hospitable and welcoming. It really is the friendly island as they say! If you are looking for a very laid back vacation, this is the place to go. A few things to watch out for while visiting that I would have liked to know about: The island is not very well maintained, there are alot of crap vehicles about and it is dirty outside of the resorts.
