Public pool locker room

A renovation project underway at Dillon Gymnasium is designed to improve the experience of students, faculty and staff who use the facility. To facilitate the upgrades, the Dillon pool will close Monday, April The pool will be closed for eight weeks, with reopening anticipated in mid-June. Additional recreational swim hours will be available in DeNunzio Pool during this closure. Improvements to locker rooms at Dillon Gymnasium include new showers, lockers and finishes, as well as the addition of gender-inclusive changing and shower areas. The use of public restrooms is intended for parents, visitors, students and the general public. Such access means there are multiple groups utilizing the space simultaneously creating need for Poseidon Swimming athletes to be respectful of others privacy. Poseidon Swimming athletes must be diligent in monitoring the area to protect all Poseidon team mates from any inappropriate conduct. The purpose of this policy is to protect our athletes, coaches and parents. We respectfully request all Poseidon parents review this policy with your athletes.

Mold is a fungus that thrives in certain conditions — namely heat and moisture — and grows in areas that offer a damp and humid environment. Mold spores can be blown inside buildings by wind or tracked inside on shoes, clothing or other means. They can sit dormant without causing any problems, but they can also wreak havoc in certain conditions, eroding tile and grout, causing illness and turning even the most updated bathroom into an eyesore.

Unsurprisingly on a beautiful summer day, the outdoor pools and hot pots were crowded, but I had the indoor pool essentially to myself and enjoyed a nice long-course workout. I thought that the sight guides on the ceiling were a new addition, but photographic evidence from this blog proves me wrong.
