Created hundreds of years ago, no doubt by some horny botanist, the presence of this figure remains unquestioned. The film starts out as rocky as the desert terrain on which Maher stands, clad in a sleek black suit, ready to take on modern religious extremists. Maher then appears driving in his car, engaged in a vain monologue that is unfortunately spliced throughout the film, causing it to lag. Cut to Raleigh, N. Here, we quickly learn Maher has some serious balls. Your head is on fire!

With "Religulous," we should try to deal in logic, style, argumentative decisions and whether or not the movie was any good. Larry Clive Charles born December 1, is an American comedian, screenwriter, director, actor, and producer. He was a staff writer for the sitcom Seinfeld for its first five seasons, contributing some of the show's darkest and most absurd storylines. After graduating from John Dewey High School , [3] he attended college at Rutgers University in New Jersey , but he left school to perform comedy routines.
Early on in Religulous , Bill Maher throws up a bar chart illustrating the number of people in America who are non-religious. From there, Maher pushes us into an intense, honest, and brutally funny discussion of blind belief, presenting the possibility that maybe we should all consider doubt instead. We follow him around the world, as he travels from place to place talking to religious people of different faiths on different continents.
